PS3 Custom firmware 4.30 proved to be a lot controversial, that’s why Sony decided to come up with the official version of firmware 4.30. Nobody expected a new firmware release at this time when the PS3 CFW 4.30 was already out. Trophy handling will be changed in the new 4.30 firmware. Some small and some bigger and better changes are expected from Sony on this new release. We are hoping that not many people will be annoyed on this OFW 4.30 release. The CFW 4.30 was released by Blue-desk which forced Sony to come up with a new firmware release very soon. Even Blue-desk won’t be expecting this release.

PS3 Jailbreak for firmware version 4.30 is also in the making, Geohot said in an interviewer with anonymous source. It has been seen that jailbreak releases have slowed down a bit since Sony cracked down on the jailbreakers. Many people are willing to pay for jailbreaks because this gives them more flexibility in terms of handling their PS3 consoles and using some extra features. New games are arriving every day with extremely high and rich graphics. PS4 is also in the making and we are expecting some news from Sony regarding PS4 very soon. It is expected to face high competition since Microsoft is working hard to come up with Xbox 720 and they claim that it will be much better with enhanced hardware. New games require extreme processor power and graphics engine to be able to run the game in good quality. There are even games which don’t run without High-end performance CPUs. Those requiring graphics quality and flexibility in terms of choice of games would have to choose PC over any console because development in PC gaming is much faster as compared to consoles. Game development is almost at same par for Consoles and PC. Now more and more are relying on their PC’s to play most exciting and graphics enriched games because they can’t buy consoles every 2,3 years when It cant play most of the games that run on PC.

PS3 Jailbreak 4.30 will be exciting to see since Sony claims that they will come up with enhanced security for the new firmware to be jailbroken easily. We will have to wait and see, if their tall claim proves to be true or it is just like many claims we have seen from Sony in the past.
